I noticed this episode had a new storyboarder. I forgot his name, but I'm pretty sure I haven't seen it in any title credits before this'n.... And I must say, I'm enjoying his debut! When all those people started showing up, I got the eery feeling that they were going to gang up on K'nuckles a la 'Revenge'. So, boy, was I relieved with how fresh this ending was! That was just awesome. The timing in the musical number was a little slow, but I really felt like those urchins and their... sea urchins posed a threat. They're relationship with Flapjack kinda reminded me of Arnold and Wolfgang/the 5th graders on Hey Arnold. I wonder if we'll see them again....
Depressed Bubbie was great (as was her terrifying the urchins), and so was K'nuckles being a pretty good person throughout. Even when he told them to check with Bubbie for Flapjack, it felt like he had just absent-mindedly not realized the situation. After all, he hadn't seen the urchins before. And I liked how he stated that he was on Bubbie's side with this one.
